Due to the underdevelopment in skin sensitivity and also insurance purposes I am unable to paint or tattoo below age 3, however age 2-3 may have a small painted design on their hand or arm where the skin is not so sensitive.

There is no upper age limit!

No professional face painter holds valid insurance to face paint below age 3.

Face Paint

To help prevent staining, lather the face fully with a mild soap and a small amount of water and then rinse off. Avoid getting paint or soap in the eyes or mouth.

In the event of staining, apply a skin friendly moisturiser, leave for a while then wipe gently. I recommend to not use wipes/baby wipes to remove face paint as this can push pigment into the pores which may result in temporarily staining the skin.

Face/Body Glitter Removal

Use a card to scrape as much of the glitter and gel off from the skin then use a damp flannel to remove any remaining gel.

Glitter Tattoo Removal

Glitter Tattoos can remain on the skin for 3-7 days if treated with care. To remove use rubbing alcohol which will dissolve the skin safe adhesive.

If you have hired a bouncy castle/soft play/animal experience is your responsibility to check if they allow face paints and glitter on or around them.

I just need a clear, well lit space about 6ft to set up my case and chair,please do not set me up near a DJ or speakers as I wont be able to hear requests.

I will also arrive 15 mins before your booked time to enable me to set up and be ready to start at the allotted time.

Often I will have another booking following yours so would not be able to stay longer after the booked time, I will judge the line and if necessary close the line as needed giving numbers to those waiting in line. Please book me for the appropriate length of time so there is no disappointment.

Verbal and physical abuse will not be tolerated.

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date along with completion of the booking form, final balance due at least 48 hours by bank transfer before your event, unless otherwise discussed before hand.

Payment plans can also be available.

Every year I donate a certain amount of hours to charity which is decided at the beginning of the year so unless agreed I am unable to offer my services for free.

There is a different approach that might be worth thinking of.  For you to contact local businesses to see if they will sponsor our services.  That way we still get paid our hourly rate.  You can then offer a free face painting which is always super popular.  Or you could charge your customers a set amount of your choice that you can then keep for your charity?  The sponsors can use their own advertising such as pop up banners, their own branded gazebo or whatever marketing they wish to provide and advertise for them, raise money for you and the artist get paid? For example,  XYZ Insurance Services sponsor todays face painting on behalf of......

Cancellations do happen and if you do need to cancel please let me know ASAP. Please note if you cancel your booking less than 48 hours before your event starts then I will require full payment. If cancelled before 48 hours then you will be refunded your payment apart from the non-refundable booking fee.

I will do my best to rebook you in if I am available for a more suitable date.

· Vegan kit including paint, brushes, glitter, tattoo glue and any balm is ethically conscious and cruelty free.

· Sadly the glitter tattoo stencils are single use only due to when used they lift skin cells from the body so I am not prepared to compromise on cross-contamination on the skin. I am however looking for an alternative options.

· Reducing single use plastics.

· The hair braids I make are reusable (no elastic bands used – just fabric toddler bands).

· A lot of the jewellery is handmade by myself including the resin jewellery.

· Wipes used are also bio-degradable.
